Two years in development, and one-year in a Beta Test, the eFiesta
payroll card was designed to meet an employer’s concern of security,
efficiency and cost. This new card solves the concerns of today’s
Latino laborer of security, ease, and function.

PAYROLL--CARDHOLDER DIRECT DEPOSIT FORM

HOW DOES THE CARD REPLACE A PRINTED CHECK?
Direct Deposit. Electronically creating a link between an employers
payroll bank account to the eFiesta card processor’s bank, funds are
transferred in real-time to cover payroll. The processor then links
to each individual card of the employee, moving funds on a scheduled
basis as programmed by the employer. The card is on either the Visa
Plus program or the MasterCard Cirrus program, each offering a
myriad of services.
WHY IS THIS AN ADVANTAGE TO THE EMPLOYER?
Economical—cost less than issuing paper checks. And lost or stolen
checks are no longer are a concern. Also, an employer no longer
loses an employee on payday to check cashing or wire merchants. Pay
stubs can be available at the office, printed from the database, or
via the internet, or from our eFiesta Prepaid machine.
WHAT IS THE COST TO THE EMPLOYER?
A per load (cash deposit) cost per card, s $1.00. This is total
cost. The set-up fee varies depending on number of employees from
$500. to no-fee.
WHAT IS THE COST TO THE EMPLOYEE?
The employee pays nothing for the cards which come in dual packs,
and pay nothing for each deposit by the employer. There is a monthly
maintenance fee to have the card since it offers many features. The
total cost is far less than a check-cashing fee and wire of funds to
family and relatives.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF THE CARD?
The employee no longer has to leave work to cash a check or pay fees
for that service. They no longer have to pay wire fees to send money
to friends or relatives. The card allows retail purchases as any
debit card, cash withdrawal from any ATM machine, allows secure long
distance phone calls, pay bills electronically, and offers ATM
insurance at the machine in the U.S., Mexico and throughout Latin
America.
IS THE CARD AN ATM-DEBIT CARD?
Yes. It is one “checking” account shared by millions of cardholders.
It does not require the cardholder to have a personal checking
account. It is an anonymous card with each one having
a separate account number and PIN. Funds are accessible via any ATM
or cash-back merchant.
WHAT IDENTIFICATION IS REQUIRED?
We require name, address, phone, birth date. In addition, we require
an official identification—this can be a state ID number, Drivers
License, Passport, Social Security Number, Metricula Identification,
etc. The employee may register and activate both cards in his
carrier by simply providing their own information but that of the
recipient of their second Card.
WHAT OTHER FEATURES DOES THE CARD HAVE FOR MY EMPLOYEE?
He may not only make purchases at any PIN retailer, but move money
across the globe, card to card, in real time via the ATM network.
This eliminates the need for wire and the high cost associated with
it. There is also a long distance phone interface which allows phone
calls using the cash balance to move funds increments of $5.00 to
make international calls. We have also added ATMsafe insurance. This
is theft insurance while at the ATM machine in addition to the FDIC
insurance. This protection is valid in the U.S. and throughout Latin
America. The insurance covers theft within ten minutes of the ATM
recorded transaction. If medical attention is needed, following the
three day qualification period, up to $10,000 is available in
medical claims. In addition, to assist medical facilities,
practitioners, who serve the Hispanic laborer, the cardholder may
file a medical history that is translated into English and recorded
in MediFile’s database which Is accessible via the Internet or fax
to any medical facility. An ID card comes attached to identify the
eFiesta cardholder as a MediFile member. This service will prevent
gross errors in medical treatment for your employee. The eFiesta
Card also hosts an automatic monthly withdrawal program towards a
savings account for an employee wanting to build a nest egg for a
daughter’s quinceañeara, a graduation, anniversary, college, or new
home.
CAN AN EMPLOYEE ORDER OR BUY EXTRA CARDS SINCE MANY MAY SEND MONEY
TO MORE THAN ONE PERSON?
Cards will be provided free of charge.
WHAT ARE THE CASH LIMITS ON THE CARD?
There is no cash deposit limit on a payroll card. There is no
transfer Limit either. Cash back is $1,010 per day. Maximum dollar
amount on any one card at any time is $9,999. A cardholder may have
more than one card to deposit larger amounts.
CAN MY EMPLOYEE DEPOSIT MORE CASH ONTO THEIR CARD OVER THE DIRECT
DEPOSIT FROM THEIR EMPLOYER?
Yes. eFiesta Kiosk “load” machines are placed within a three-mile
radius of 3,000 cardholders. Machine activity is monitored daily to
ensure that the cardholder is served with either more machines in
more nearby locations or adding machines to the same location. In
addition, cardholders may load cash onto their eFiesta card at any
ACE cash express cash checking outlet. Also, in Chicago, at any
Pay-Ease Kiosk self payment machine. Cash deposits can also be made
through any MoneyGram agent. However, prices for making deposits
vary from
$3.50 to $8.95.
